Frogs for hognose snakes

drgngems Dec 14, 2011 09:58 PM

Hello all. I have 2 juvenile Eastern Hognose snakes that are being finicky about eating. Does anyone know a good dealer of frogs that ships or is in the Mid Atlantic USA?
We're doing syringe feeding for now, but want to switch to frog then scent to thawed pinkies.
Any help would be great!!!
Thanks,
Becca

if it was spring time i could help you out with toads. i literally have thousands invade my yard. as far as feeder frogs i know of no one that breeds them. have you tried guppies? i believe they will eat fish as well. best best would be to just buy an American frog and use it for scenting. try either ben siegal or underground reptiles. both are in florida though.
