Breeding question URGENT (maybe)

to3015 Dec 15, 2011 10:56 PM

I am a first time breeder of my beardies. Tonight my female laid her eggs. she came out of her burrow so I assumed she was done laying so I took her out and gave her a warm bath to help hydrate her. I felt her belly after her bath and she still has eggs left. I am at a lost of what to do now I have not removed the eggs yet. Should I put her back in and let her finish laying or should I remove the eggs then put her in and let her finish?

Just remove the eggs and leave her with the nesting box for awhile longer. Its not unusual for them to take a few days to lay all their eggs. If there are still more eggs in her after a day or two, or she shows signs of distress, then take her to a qualified reptile vet.
