savs have more than one set of eyelids?

I swear my sav has two sets of eylids.

When he blinks, sometimes there appears to be a "sub set" that wipe front to back.

So do they?

Hi, it`s the nictitating membrane, all Varanid species possess them, many other lizard families too.
