Hi Kerby, its a philippine water monitor, looks like a young one. Varanus s. cumingi. Or at least it was, it may now be missing the salvator part. But I think thats right.

They are not really common in the trade as its illegal to export them out of the philippines. Good luck

If you had one of those Paradon, would you still think it was boring to care for, or because it`s "pretty", would you find it fascinating? (Seriously, no sarcasm))...

Monitors are kindda boring and dull; that's just me. I like pretty animals, yes, but I do like to prepare their meal, make sure they get the right diet and make sure they're comfortable. That's why I prefer iguanids, tortoises and turtle. I guess I like making their salads. I'm sure there are a lot of people who get the thrill out of keeping powerful animals like monitors. I personally would get a rotty and German shepherd, which are my favorite breeds, if I wanted something like that.
