I have a water monitor, a new one, hes ony about 13 inches. I also have a RES I rescued when he was a hatchling. Hes still pretty small, maybe a lil bigger than a 1/2 dollar coin. I have an aquarium that is turned into a terrarium for my monitor. Would it be ok to let the RES inhabit the water in it......its 11 inches deep water with a basking spot. The monitor will swim in it too though when he feels like taking a dip.......hmmmmmmm, thoughts?

Do not mix species like this. Also, there is a very good chance the monitor will kill or eat your turtle.
