Bothriopsis b. bilineata

juksu Jan 07, 2012 10:00 AM

Last year was great year for me.. Got offsprings from 4 different snakes (B. schlegelii, C. venustus, C. hortulanus and finally from B. b. bilineata).
Especially I'm very happy from bilineatas and here's some photos I'd like to share with you.

Male trying to "get some"

Say hello to newborn babies (11.8.2011)

Total 15 babies

These have been one of the most difficult offsprings to take care of.. Even difficult than venustus babies :/
The problem is that they are hard to get drinking and feeding.. mostly drinking. I have lost 3 babies sofar, but almost all of the rest are doing fine. Some have shed second time and growing up nicely.

If someone is interested more about these I'm clad to share my experience.

Cheers
