botz72 Jan 09, 2012 10:35 AM

Hey guys..i produced this guy in june 2010..Dad is a Ghost multi het..mom an albino multi het...dad n mom not related...Dad i got from bhb and mom was a gift from a friend...In this clutch I had snows, albinos, anerys and normals....and this guy..he looked like an anery at hatching but had bigger bands and blue tinge,so hel him back...As hes maturing hes gaining amber reds and a lil lavender...Im pretty confident hes not an anery or a ghost..Brian Barczyk said he looked like a cinder but told me has no cinder in his corn bloodlines....weird..Any help or opinions would b grealy appreciated...trying to figure out his genetics..hes a really good looking snake...Love to know what he is...hes a lil dark in these pics as he is going opaque.

He does not look like a cinder at all. Cinders are hypoerythristic. They show true reds, not the pinky/peach tones.

He DOES look like a really light anery or a ghost, however. Could be what's referred to as a "pastel" ghost, which is known for rich saddle colors.

Pictures at these links show just how colorful aneries and ghosts can be.

thanx..yes im not familiar with the cinder's n started looking at em.didnt look to much like him from some of the pics i saw and yes he has more of the peachy type coloration..Brian had said he had no cinders in his bloodline....it make sense if hes just a really nice anery.a few friends have some anery's from this clutch but look nothing like him, more of the typical black albino anery Thats why i started to doubt what he was..I produced a lot of babies from this pairing n no ghosts...I dont think my female albino is het for hypo....i held back a snow female from this clutch as well n will breed her with this guy next yr and should nice ghosts from that pairing n hopefully more of him..Thanx for the feedback.

Might also be a Charcoal, maybe? It's hard to see in the pics, but does he have any yellow on the neck?
