Undescribed Drymarchon, Nicaragua

CrocodilePaul Jan 10, 2012 07:52 PM

Greetings All,

Here are pictures of an undescribed Drymarchon, locality Banderas Nicaragua. As you can see from these pictures, Alan B., Don B., and I (Paul B.)found this male snake dead on the road. There were no black markings under the eyes nor on the body. The snake was uniform brownish-pink with a cream colored under belly. Length was 6' 2". Any insight as to what this snake may be are appreciated. Thank you for looking.

Truly,

Paul Bodnar

John was right (back from december) Identified as (Masticophis [Coluber] mentovarius). A cool find, would have been better if it was alive.
