My corn sanke vid.

snakeeyes1618 Jan 18, 2012 10:46 AM

Any feed back you have would be great. I try to keep things real in the vid...I stumble on small things that i know but hey I think everyone deserves something real not over produced.

Enjoy

Decent video for some corn folks and prospective buyer's to check out.

Just some additional tid-bits....

The term and actual name "Okeetee" originates from the 50,000 acre hunt club estate in Jasper County, S. Carolina known as the "Okeetee" Hunt/Gun Club.

The coined "golddust" morph and any other ultra/ultramel based "cornsnake" morphs actually originated from the crossing of a white Oak phase Gray Ratsnake, not an Emory's ratsnake (aka Great Plains Ratsnake).

Ironically, Mike Falcon and his friend Mike Shiver know all about this first hand, and Mike Falcon can tell you alot of it's history and origin when you talk to him next time...

I have some extreme hypo and ghost Honduran milks that are from Mike Falcon's stock years ago.

cheers, ~Doug

Mike is a friend of mine and he has explained some of this all to me before.....Actually i think he is not going to be producing them any longer as his babies have started driving him crazy haha....Yes his milks are pretty rediculous.....I am definatly trying to get some room for those.....In person they are better.

Thanks for the feed back and strigtening me out on locals and genetics...sometime the brain isnt as fast as my mouth.

It makes TONS of sense to me as a matter of fact. Many times if I get too in-depth with certain things I find that it often leaves many people with a clueless blank look similar to a deer staring into a car's headlights..

If people don't understand what is being said, they tend to lose interest immediately as if you are talking to them in a foreign lanquage or something..

I rather enjoyed the vid. Your Corns look like they are on steroids, lol. Very healthy and beautiful for sure. My only critique would be to turn off that lamp that was behind you. You want to keep all lights behind the camera so the lens doesn't try to block out the light, and so making the inages look darker.. This vid would have been much brighter I bet, if that light were behind the camera, or just turned off. Good work overall though!
