Ball x Woma hybrid

tektum Jan 20, 2012 11:48 AM

Ok forgive my ignorance - I saw that someone had a Ball python/Woma hybrid for sale in the classifieds. How is that done? First of all wont a Woma eat a Ball python and also doesn't the two different genera mean they wouldn't be compatable "structurally?" Just curious because I really don't know. Thanks

There are many Hybrids. There is a Hybrid section on the top of the Forum section. I produced the CarpetxBall cross in 2007. Some use sheds. I have never had to do any of that.

Kevin at NERD produced some about 4 years ago. I was mostly curious when I saw them to see if they had heat pits, since Womas do not. Yep, they had them.

Womas (and Black Heads) do actually have heat-pits, it is located under the rostral scale.
