Breeding weights of Kenyans

championjeep Feb 02, 2012 02:40 PM

I have a pair of Kenyans. The male has not ate for me since September. He looks completely healthy no weight loss so, I assume he might be in breeding mode. The female when last weighed was 274 grams. What are the ideal weights for male and females? I was thinking of putting them together if they big enough.

Males will breed at 40-50 grams plus. Females CAN breed at 200-300g but I would wait until 300-400g.
