I have been using aspen for substrate. Is anything better then that? Thanks.

My kingsnake so far has hated the aspen but loved the cocofiber eco-earth. Its much better for burrowing and can be both tropical humid and dry like dirt. My cali king right now went bonkers when I switched him from aspen to coco-fiber. He wouldnt touch the aspen and now hes zooming around and burrowing everywhere
