Trinket Rat Snake

This is a young adult female I held back due to her really light coloring. She's looking nice and not darkening up at all as they can sometimes do.
Cool species. Her mother is one of those snakes that will literally chase you when you open her cage if there is the smell of mice in the room. I love snakes with that crazy feeding instinct (except when she catches me).
As you can see, she just ate a nice sized mouse the day before the photo was taken.

Wow! That is a very pretty helena indeed!
Couple of things I noticed about Trinkets when I kept them is that they seemed to change color - even day to day, sometimes. (although I never had one that nice and light colored!)
Also - once you start getting eggs, its hard to stop them from coming
Great little snakes though
