No. That was a long time ago. I think a lot of the true Kunisar Island rats had that bluish head.

Both of the ones I've had/have have more of a turquoise head whereas the head in your photo looks more like a powder blue and sharply contrasts with the body color. Are you suggesting that they are misrepresented???

I guess I was suggesting that.

In the early years of importing the Kunisar Island rats, they were more like the one I had. It seemed to me in later years that the color/pattern was changing on them, and I suspected that some breeders had crossed them with climacs from the main islands and were selling as Kunisar's to get a better price. That's just my opinion though.
