Rat-a-Thon day 9

53kw Feb 24, 2012 04:43 PM

The lightest hatchling from my 2011 breeding of some nice white oak gray ratsnakes. I have seen two animals over the years that were lighter, almost ghostly. O-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o...

OK, enough with the ghost sound effects. Anyway, one of those lighter animals was in the collection of the Staten Island Zoo about 45 years ago (yes, I'm THAT old) and the other is a bit closer, currently in the collection of an acquaintance who has a table every month at a local herp show. Maybe we can get these two light gray rats together some day. Let the haunting begin--o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o......
