Actually, he appears to be a 'sunspot', which is a special type of stripe, not motley. Plus the head pattern suggests stripe, rather than motley.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - I'd call that a sunspot.

Actually I am unclear about the whole sunspot thing. I purchased him at the Daytona Expo 5 years ago marked as a motley. Anything else interesting about that morph I ought to know? So you are saying sunspot is not a form of motley? I need to dig up a pic of him as an adult.

Beautiful snake Dennis! It reminds me of a Striped Sunkissed. Which is what I'm trying to make with my ghost female. Whatever the genetics it's stunning!

Very nice Dennis! If the spots were more pronounced like darker or a different color that would be super cool looking! He is very pretty as he is also. It will be interesting to see what he produces on down the line. Is the female het for anything?

Thanks. The female is offspring from a wild caught gravid female. The night I caught her she laid 6 eggs and 3 of them hatched. They all looked very different. I kept the 2 females and one is the one pictured.

I have saved back 2 of the sunspot males daughters to breed back to him. Hope I get some neat babies!
