Crickets.....This is a touchy subject with dry breeders, especially eastern breeders. I have heard the same thing. It would be nice to hear from those who have experience with wild caught easterns and share their knowledge regarding this matter. I know of several people that are connected with the Orianne Project that may have some valuable input. Dare to share?
is that project a guarded secret?????......would citizens be allowed to tour the project????.....wouldnt it enhance the project if the project were to allow selected citizen breeders to maybe outbreed some of the captive indigos to some wild caught involved in the project .......then divide the resulting "ASSETTS".....if i might use that description????....how bout it FFW.......could something like this be feasible?????......aint asking if it would happen....all breeding would be documented and be kinda like that DAWG group....KFC ......or is it AKC......im so old...it all smells like chicken.......CHRIP!!!!......one really big cricket.....i know this is being read.....
There are no "secrets" with the orianne project. Just google it or click on link below. It is a very well known conservation project attempting to address the dwindling wild indigo population and to educate the public.

didnt mean to sound negative......JUST AXING.....i reckon there will be publication of the program's success ......AT the appropriate time of course......is it just me ......or do many of US(including me ) tend to "tiptoe" around this species????.....YO.....i mean no disrespect.....
Once again. There are plenty of publications. Google is a great tool. Please use it.

My year old fellow has some scale splits down south, I sure hope it's not as serious as some are saying and he could maybe have a shortened life. Blah.
(Yes the tail kink I am aware of, got him that way as a hatchling)

The very existence of flamethrowers means that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves..."You know, I really want to set those people over there on fire...but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."
i believe that split caudal scales are normal......the kink maybe a result of incubation temps.......i remembering "going down south".....the problem(rumored).....would north of the border.......send me a text at 2159066420
Yeah the kink I'm not concerned with as I purchased him knowing he had that, that's how I was able to afford him
But all this split scale talk I keep seeing has got my ears peaked with some interest.
Bob I will hit you up but I am at work all day so cant text a whole lot here eh sailor.
