I have always wanted a Burm, but never knew if you could have them in Maine. I can't find out online if they are legal or illegal so if someone could help me out it would be highly appreciated!

There is no reptile that is actually illegal in Maine, however, there are a number of animals, Burmese included, that require a permit prior to purchase - NOT AFTER. You will not get a permit to import a burmese into Maine. Many have tried and failed.
