My Croatian Zamenis situla. Currently, they reside at John Lassiter's snake room, where he was very close to getting babies from them last year. Wish us luck!

Very nice! My stripers locked up thurs. night. I would like to have a blotched female, maybe my female will give me one this year. I know it is possible to get a blotched hatchling from two stripes, but not the other way around. I don't know if my pair carries the gene though. It would be cool if they did.

Thanks Matt! I like these guys a lot, but they have mystified me somewhat over the years I've had them.

I like your striped ones a lot - best of luck getting a blotched baby this year...

Thanks Nazza! I have always admired their beauty too - just wish they would cooperate and give me some good eggs! LOL

My buddy, John, almost got babies last year - but they developed all the way and then died in their eggs before hatching. I think he was even more upset than I was...
