Does anyone know where I could buy some from. I can't find any in my yard or nearby park. Maybe it is because I live in NJ and it is freezing?

Hi, I take it these are for food? The best place to look in winter is under plant pots, against brick walls (at the bottom), they get a covering over the opening of the shell, so they "aestivate" during the colder months. If you can`t find any there, try the freshwater type from aquarist`s shops, just as good, or Apple snails if you can find them for sale, though they can be quite expensive.
Try an Italian fish market.
We of Italian desent eat them by the 5 gallon bucket full around Christmas time mostly.
My Nana would shteem us up a nice big batch shnails and "we would suck em out all day long!" (there's another one David)
