Good luck, with your projects, and welcome to Corn keeping again. There are so many new morphs today, I'm still learning some new things. Just recently learned about the Silver leaf, and the Moonstone, just to name a couple!

"What are silver leaf and moonstone?"

The so-called "Silverleaf" originates from a single wild-caught "Kisatchie" corn (Pantherophis slowinskii). The snake was captured by a good friend of Graham Criglow's (of Strange Cargo Exotics). It was later given to Graham's friend (KJ Lodrigue) and he proved it to be a unique recessive trait.

"Moonstone" corns are simply Lavender x anery type "A" morphs.

Here is a pic of a Silverleaf

you're righ Jorge,....yeah, I just verified with Gerard that the 2007 offspring were raised up and it did prove to be recessive. I misread and thought KJ was supposed to have some this year, but it apparently meant "AGAIN" this year..

I wonder if they all look similar to that one you posted, or if they vary a lot. I did some searching and that's the best one I've seen so far. That animal is gorgeous!

The Palmetto Corn. I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly but, that is the top of my wish list, someday when the prices fall considerably!

I agree, that one is just stunning man!

Yeah, I would bet they would vary some, and that the youngster's solid saddle blotching would tend to speckle in and fade to different degrees in the idividuals. The blue colored hue is pretty cool for sure.

Doug, Why did Pantherophis come to be the the new Latin name and why do some people use it when others do not. Panther? vm
