Freshly shed V. cumingi

My bigger female is shedding out and I had the chance to snap a few pictures. She is currently the only one I have decent pics of as she will stick around and even allow me to climb into the enclosure and not run to hide. The other two are coming around so it shouldn't be to much longer till I get some decent pics of them. I have some cell phone pics I'll post so you get the idea but there is no justice there. Yellow is not an easy color to capture for me, these animals are so bright in person! I need to get an underwater camera as it's the males favorite place to be! Enjoy!

Thank you for the comments! Well as luck has it the smaller female was just out laying on the log in the pond. She saw me, stayed there for a few minutes and then went for a swim. She is smaller (3 1/2 - 4') and has trouble getting out of the pond if she doesn't use the log. I had enough time to run inside and grab the camera for some quick pics. They are a bit cloudy because the humdity in the cage is around 100% (or more lol). She has also begun to shed in these pictures, truely stunning! I am so lucky to be working with these animals! Now if I could only snap some pics of the male...more to come!!!

Two more of my big girl she's 4'+ and is normally out and about or hiding just under the leaves by the food bin.

Amazing animals man. Cumingi are hands down my favorite of the water complex, and one of my favorite varanids. How big is your largest?

Good luck with getting eggs, they are truly special animals that should be more available!

As far as waters go cumingi are my favorite for sure! My largest is the male which has got to be right around 5'. I hope to be able to offer these animals for sale in the future. I'm putting in all the work to make it happen but they are animals and it's still up to them lol. I'm just enjoying them at the moment and when the time is right I maybe able to post pics of little white eggs...here are a few more high quality pics I was able to take of the smaller female today:
