I found this unusual little fellow in my yard today. Almost every radix I've ever seen around here has had a very pronounced black/olive checkerboard pattern on its side, which is completely absent in this one. Instead, it has faint creme colored dashes.

Has anyone else seen one like this? It's currently opaque, so I might hang on to it for a few days and see what it looks like post-shed.
