Moist hide help

trex8692 Apr 09, 2012 03:17 AM

I used to make moist hides with the entrance on the side. Now i dont liek that because i find it makes the hide easier to dry out. My leo also kicks out some substrate.

I have now mde a new moist hide with the entrance on top of the hide. How do i train the leo to go in thru the top now? Or will he be able to learn?

Hi, put him in the new top opening , let him come out on his own, after that he will figure it out, ;0) I personally LOVE the 3 in one caves, with damp vermiculite, all my adults have them and love climbing in and out, and females lay eggs. But for all my hatchlings and sub-adults that do not stay I do what you do, and just wet paper towels every night or so.
