Quick ? on creamsicle genetics

Rob Lewis Apr 11, 2012 02:47 PM

I think I know the answer to this but just wanted to be sure. I recently adopted a creamsicle female (2nd pic). If I pair her with my amel male (1st pic, no known emoryi blood in him) all of the resulting offspring will still be creamsicles because of the emoryi blood in the female, right? Thanks for your help.

....that's what I thought. Thanks.

yes...all integrades,,,but the term "cremecicle" is usually a cremecicle colored snake...people expect a color when buying these....if you call the generic mutt amels cremes...people will be disapointed when they grow up red, orange and all in between...this arguement has been going on for years....and I bet there isn't one pure corn out there anymore....candycane, creme, miami, okeetee, etc etc etc...are now just color types....

call them what you like...it would be nice to tell people there is emoryi in them...but as stated ...at this year in time...amels are amels....and most people don't care...

good luck....

...I really like that amel, too. My son picked him out a couple of years ago. It was his first snake. I am really happy with how he came out. I really like them with little or no white. Thanks again.
