Looking to save some money where I can. Does anyone have a good source to lower the cost on monthly aspen costs? Whether it's at a National Chain Store, or ordering on line, or buying in bulk. So where did you seem to find your best deal?

You will likely find the best aspen prices at a farm supply type store. The problem is the cheaper aspen that I have found tends to be thicker peices and therefore not very absorbent.

Make friends with your local mink farmers. I used to work at a local mink farm and the owner used this in his nesting boxes. He would order it by the truck load and fill up a barn with it. He had several different grades and would just give it to me. He said the cost was around $2 for a ~ 4 cubic foot bag, but that was in 1990, but it was still very cheap for that time in history.
