Ring Python egg temps and humidity level

kingtrop Apr 30, 2012 12:39 AM

Hi,
I have a couple of females that should lay eggs in the next few weeks. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what temps and humidity are ideal for incubating Ring python eggs?.
Thanks,
JQP.

JQP, I do 75-90 % relative humidity and about 88F degrees Fahrenheit. Its going to depend on your incubator, container and egg setup a little though. Check out the July issue of reptiles magazine USA, coming out soon, there is an article on ringed pythons that will help you. Good luck and post some pictures!

Thanks Tom,
I had an unexpected mini clutch from a small female last night, it looked like mostly slugs, but I am still waiting on a clutch from a large high contrast female in the next few days. I am on dial-up where I live, but I am going to have a friend post pics for me soon.
