Has there been any rain in paradise? I starting to get the fever.

There has been rain from Sanderson east including some last night.Locally in Alpine it is still dry and crisp.South county is worse than us.There have been a few leps spotted and a few odds and ends.The gap might have got a little last night but one or two days later it's like it hadn't rained at all.The DMR had a mandatory evacuation due to fires on Mt. Baldy and Mt. Livermore.I'm still doing my rain dance,but boy am I tired.

Have you been out in Sanderson? I am looking forward to getting down there next month for Snake Days

Just to update everyone,we finally had two straight days of fairly heavy rain.The Davis mtns.,Alpine,Shafter,Black Gap,Sanderson and Marfa all got what I consider heavy rain.I was told by a friend in th Gap that they recieved 1/2 inch Wens and 3/10 Tues.Toads were calling last night.First time in 16 months since I heard that.Sanderson and East ought to be prime this next new moon.I will hit locally and give some reports later.
