I am building a rack for my rats. Have had them in an old rabbit cage in the back yard for some time. Moving them to the garage due to temps here in central texas. How hot is too hot? What would you do to combat this? Would a good size fan work?

I have been raising rats for 15 years and found the preferred temp range to be between 68 and 78.I use to live in Killeen TX and found the higher the temp the lower the humidity needs to be.I controlled this by having moving air when the humidity was high.Remember the lower cages send their heat to the cages above them.A floor fan is the best way to solve this problem.
