Eggs are laid and the waiting begins. Only one slug out of 12 eggs (3x4 clutches) so far with a few more yet to lay. A few pics of some holdbacks and one male breeder. Neonate Ventura Cty. Coastal, Wide-White Kern Intergrade, and a Sierra animal in the branches.

Very nice animals and congrats Bill. Just out of curiousity, what kind of cages do you use? In the last pic I see the climbing branch.

Thanks Joe. Yeah that one cage is atypical for sure. I had some Barrs cages vacant from my Chondro/Boiga projects and experimented with stacks of fake stones bought at Lowes with spacers in between to simulate cracks in granite as well as a bunch of branches and fake greenery...always felt non-ambush feeders would feel more secure "hunting" under cover and not exposed.

Cage dimensions are waay overkill even for adult Zonata but it's pretty killer to just sit and watch them.....which is something I seem to do more with Zonata than any other species I keep or have kept.
