I have a seven year old columbian Red tail boa who's behavior has changed recently. He was always a very aggressive feeder (had him since newborn). Now he is reluctant to feed and is loosing some of his vitality. His skin has a rough feel to it, almost like he is dehydrated. He was always VERY docile. Now he is getting aggressive. I don't see any obvious signs of infections, mites, etc. He also just had a normal shed. I do have a vet appointment but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestion as to what his problem could be. Thanks for your help.

double check your husbandry, sometimes little things change that you don't even think about. Good call on going to the vet, if you can afford it I would run bloodwork. Let us know what happens!
