Very nice collection!
Talking about a learning curve. What did you give your small Candoia C Carinata the first months? I have a female gravid, but i know the feeding for the offspring isn't easy.

I tried EVERYTHING! Anything you could think of a baby carinata might enjoy and nothing worked. I resorted to VERY delicately tube feeding beef heart and critical care formula every 2 weeks via a kitten catheter. Over and done with in 10 seconds tops. After the baby started putting on a wee bit of weight and once I had seen it was pooping and functioning correctly I started assist feeding lizard tails. I'm going to go back to basics and try all the original methods now the baby is older and has the knack for swallowing things. I am shocked the baby hasn't keeled over from the stress of it all. But I am VERY careful and in between feeds the baby is left completely alone for the full two weeks.

Oke thank you, i know it's hard to feed the small ones. I'm still waiting and hoping she gives birth one of these days. After 5 years it will be the first time that my small group produces offspring.

If you produce any and are in the US, I'd be interested in buying some offspring from you.

I work with several Candoia species, have an article coming out on them, and am looking to expand... ccarillephoto@gmail.com
