Anybody out there?

saddleman Jun 17, 2012 11:24 AM

Is anybody out west?? I thoughts since collecting is legal now and with snake days going on, this site would be burning up with posts. Looks like there has been more rain than the last couple of years at least, I would think there might be something to report. Did anybody show up for snake days?
Anybody out there????

There seems to be quite a few people out right now. I've seen a few posts on Facebook. They are finding some stuff out there. Haven't seen any alterna pics though.

We just got back...There was a great turn out for the first annual Snake Days, but next year more should go...it was a blast IMHO.

Personally I did not find any alterna but I believe there were about 9 found last week along with many atrox, leps, longnose, a few subocs and a bairds. I didn't hear about the triangulum until I read a post above.....

I have a great picture of one alterana that was found down in Deer Canyon. It's a young and already dark blairs......with perfect white borders.

We are headed back that way for a few days at the end of the month, then on our way to California...On the way back from California we will be in Sanderson for a couple more days before we have to head back down to Corpus (home).
