Help Jeff Barringer find an Alterna. Poor guy goes out to SnakeDays, has the uber zombie survival vehicle that passes for a snake hunting rig, millions of lumens of lights, and no Al-Toy-Nuh.

Jeff, you know we love you buddy... Thanks again for your help with the low-on-gas girl Friday night and spending the time to yo-yo to Sanderson for Gas. I was prepared to do it and she wouldn't let me as she felt bad I only had 2 nights to be out there.

HELP JEFF GET A GB!

HAHAHAHA Well he did KINDA find a grayband. The plastic one! I was SOOOOOO hoping we would have been able to siphon the gas from her tank to hit langtry, but such is life. Were you the one that flagged us down or the one we left her with close to town?

I flagged you down. I had been with her for probably almost 45 minutes at that point. I asked if she wanted me to drive back and forth to get gas and she said no she felt bad as I only had 2 nights to hunt. You don't find many people like that and certainly not ladies with that sense of adventure. I went to scout for border patrol or LE and when I got back she was WALKING ON TOP OF THE CUTS looking for snakes... I then had to explain the rules and the fact I had ZERO desire for her to get bitten under my supervision.

Thanks again for all your help.

Best wishes, StevenX

When we started following her back to town, she pulled off and jumped out because she saw a snake crossign the friggin road! OMD! We again had to explain things to her and the fact that we wanted to get her as close to town as possible. Had she kept going she may have just made it! When her car broke down, we again explained everything to her. She had never met a herper before and I kinda blew her mind. She literally looked at me in shock because she thought she was the only female that liked reptiles! HA! If she only knew!

I have a funny feeling next Snake Days, she will be there with a vest and license! She did look us up and post a thank you to the blog!
