trouble feeding het. kennerlyi for 2 months....fresh sushi grade salmon does the trick everytime.....any benefits or negatives to the practice....so much easier than mice...

thanks chance.....only ever used spadefoots for scenting trouble eaters. Decided to try fresh fish.

Obviously not a lot of trace nutrients and minerals in fish muscle tissue, whole prey items would be much better. Would be fine over the short term, but have you tried scenting mice with it. Many years ago, I had newborn eastern hogs feeding consistently on pinkies scented with skin slime from one frozen bullfrog.
