Taming my water python

GopherSnakeNJ Jun 27, 2012 04:45 PM

I recently got my first water python and I have to say he is absolutely gorgeous. He is very feisty though and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for how I can get him to not be so nippy.

Take him out every day and hold him for at least 10 minutes so he adjusts to handling. I had a JCP that was nippy, hated to hold him but I had to or else I'd never be able to handle him. It worked.
