I purchased this Hog a few weeks ago, but just recently noticed he has two sores on each side of his throat behind his head.. they look to be somewhat older sores, I am somewhat new with snakes and these are the first sores I have come across, I am assuming they are from the previous owner.
I cant see too much detail.. but since there on the boa's head I would have to guess that there either a burn from a heat source or a scar from feeding. I does look like an older mark, but I would be sure to still put a safe antibiotic ointment on it to make sure its fully healed. Best of luck!!
