Wild populations of Banana Pectinata?

Manny Jul 16, 2012 04:48 PM

Here is the pic of what was formerly thought to be a banana phase pectinata. It is a wild caught from Florida. This pic is what it turned out to be as an adult. It is by far an awesome looking animal but not a banana phase. I'm posting this as proof that the claims by some that there are banana phase pectinatas in Florida, is a myth. There may have been some in the founding years of this colony but they do not exist now. This is the closest I’ve come to a banana phase in my 18 years of collecting them.
