Unfortunately, eggs were laid when I was on vacation and all but this one were too dried up to revive. At least this is a female...

And a nice one at that!! I have the same thing happen this year and convinced the wife to retrieve the eggs.Still cant believe she did it!!

As jocop said, at least it was a nice one! Once I had some eggs laid while I was on vacation but I was able to "revive" them and they all hatched. I would guess they were laid about 3 or 4 days before I got back and found them. It's always worth trying cause like in your example as well, at least one hatched.
