Building my own snake rack, questions!

Jake23ts Aug 17, 2012 06:18 PM

I'm in the process of building a few snake racks. I need opinions on what quart size tubs to get. I'm going to build three.

What quart sizes will I need for:

Hatchlings and juveniles (colubrids and similar)
Colubrid adults/young adults
Smaller species adult pythons and boas (carpets and rainbows)

Thanks!
-Jake

Most people recommend keeping hatchling colubrids in the shoe box size boxes. Not sure how many quarts that is. For larger snakes, I have heard that the total length and width combined should be as long as the snake.

Just a couple of ideas. Hope that helps.
