There seems to be a lot of different views on their diet. So how do i know what's good for them and what's not? Some examples are some say peas are good for them and others say they are not. Some say to feed beans and others say beans are bad for them. How do i know what is good for them and what isnt? Or is it just a bunch of people speculating?
thanks,
Sean

I just feed according to what a lot of people recommend, people like Doug Dix (who has lot of experience with Uro), and feed things that I feed to my iguana to my Mali Uromastyx. Things like parsnips, green beans, sugar snap peas, snow peas and winter squash I feed to my iguana and I feed them to my Uro, too. Some things have too much calcium oxalate that binds with calcium rendering useless to your animal and some things have goitrogenic compound which prevents the absorbbtion of iodine. I use this charge all the time to see which is good to feed and which is not. Good luck!
