Reverse-Striped meahllmorum...

tbrock Sep 04, 2012 11:17 PM

... and more!

This clutch is the result of two generations of breeding, starting with a WC reverse-striped animal (grand-sire) and a "normal" (grand-dam) - from different points in Nueces County, Texas.

Check out the aberrant neonate on top!

Wow Toby, you finally did it! Those are really cool! As a fellow meahllmorum fan I can really appreciate those. I have a small clutch of 4 from my normal adults that haven't hatched yet. I didn't even brumate them, just kept them together all year. I also have 4 Colorado Intermontane hatchlings from my KJ Lodrigue adults, but man those reverse stripes are awesome, not to mention the aberrants.

Thanks Matt! I'm really happy with the outcome too.

They are very prolific. I actually have another clutch which hatched a few weeks ago - from the same line. Some of those babies have longer than normal neck striping.
