So awesome! I need to get some of those!

What's next? Well I hope you produce some patternless ghosts and "moonglows"

Just curious about the one you're calling a ghost, is that a line of hypo?

Also wondering how old those are?

Beautiful animals, so far I'm still working with normals, but some of the morphs are definitely on my wishlist!

Charlie,

The "Ghost" line is a recessive trait.

rascal_rascal_99 Sep 11, 2012 12:01 AM

I was just wondering if it was a line of hypo or if it's something different.

I was also curious how old those are and still looking as sharp as they do, although I've seen a number of pictures of adult albinos and they still look great and not washed out...like I said before, definitely on my wish list! lol

Again, great looking animals!

Charlie,

In the CRBs the “ghost” trait is a single point recessive mutation unlike the “ghost” term more commonly referring to the combination of the Anery and Hypo genes.

Thanks John, that much I understand...this is the first time I'd heard of the ghost morph so it had my curiosity up about what it was, whether it was another line of some kind of hypo gene or a little more detailed description of what the morph appears to be.

Thanks for all the kind words.
The animals in this picture are juveniles, I Have yet to see an adult albino myself so I am not sure what will happen there, but I hope it keeps that sharpness. As far as the "Ghost", they actually get better looking with age.
Thank you all again! I will have these animals on display at the NARBC Anahiem show this weekend so if any of you are attending look for the Bodaciousboas booth!

These are pictures of my 5yr adult albinos.
While these do keep their colour well so far, i believe the original WC albino female did turn very white as she got much older
You can see the albino vs het comparison, shows that the het has faded much much more than the albino.

just lol

Thanks Matt, I've only seen pictures of adult albinos...and Dave has been nice enough to share a few here already. I think they still look great as adults personally.

I'll have to look for more pictures or info on that ghost gene you have, sounds interesting!
