I've had him for a month, he's an awesome little guy, I'm really glad I brought him into my life. He's my first monitor lizard and amazes me every day.

That's fantastic. We have a little one ourselves by the name of Smog. He's doing a lot better then he was when we bought him, but he's got a ways to go before he's ready to be sociable.
They are beautiful monitors, though, and I hope that everything goes well with yours!
Also, I'm calling mine a he but I really don't know Smogs sex yet.
