I am asking for a little help. I have two clutches from unquestionably striped sunglow corns. The parents have zero white, and one male and one female have virtually no striping as adults. They are very much like my striped fire. Does anyone have a general guideline or a set of indicators to allow for reasonable identification of which hatchlings will be sunglow as adults? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Rana888

If both parents are sunglow stripes all the offspring will be sunglow stripes. Maybe some with be brigher than others as babies, but as adults they should all resemble bright orange sunglow stripes.

I'm not sure what you're using as a qualification for "sunglow," but virtually all striped albino corns almost never have any white. Motley albino corns usually have little to no white as well.

Thank you for the responses. One of my pairs of Striped Sunglows is from Don at South Mountain. He is using some set of criteria for determining the striped sunglows from the striped amels, I am just not sure what it is. I have not been able to contact him for his input on this. I also have striped amels from Don as well, and these have some white flecking and very prounounced stripes, while the sunglows have no flecking and have diminished visible stripes as adults. They also appear more reddish, although they did not all appear that way as neonates. Thanks again. Rana888
