is there any reason to not feed my baby 3 toeds and ebts a little venison along with the balance of their diet? They sure do seem to love it.

Personally, feeding muscle meat is ok as long as you mix it in with the salad that comprises of a lot of vegetables and fruits. When I use something like that I tend to cook it first by boiling it and I make sure I mix it in we'll so they are not just eating the meat but everything in the salad.

I make a mix for all my box turtles, including the babies...veggies, greens, fruit, soaked turtle brittle, or mazuri, or trout chow, cooked sweet potato, cooked carrots...chop everything up very small, and add some ground venison. They all love this, including the babies. A week before I stop feeding for hibernation, I feed only ground venison with sweet potato (Wellness dog food in a can). When I start off a baby introducing greens and fruit, I give them this mix. I give the same mix to my Cherry Heads, only adding the venison once every two weeks.
