Do you guys hibernate your 3 toed box turtles the same way and same temps as your easterns?

I do, but I live in deep SE Texas. Mine hibernate outdoors, and we seldom see freezing temps.

I live in NY and keep Eastern's with Three Toed's and they all hibernate outside. I've never had a problem.
