Carpet Python cage aggression

byebyeromance Oct 03, 2012 02:34 PM

Hi I just recently purchased a female adult carpet python she is around 7 feet long. She is very cage aggressive I was wondering if there was a way to help break her aggressiveness? She has yet to try to bite me but whenever I try to touch her she whips her head around and makes a noise that sounds something like a hiss. Help please???

I used to open cages and have jungles try and eat me....I stopped this with a rolled up newspaper....don't smack them...just hold it there or a light tap...they get the idea it's you and not food ....they were all fine once out of the cage....

good luck
