whats the correct procedure for a snake for snake interstate trade????.....

Trades constitute a transaction between two parties and therefore requires the interstate commerce permit. BUT.... if you gift someone an indigo it does not require an interstate commerce permit. Just make sure the gifting party documents on paper that this is solely a gift. Linking any easterns back to their original interstate commerce permit number is also helpful in case FWS comes knocking. Although FWS would like to be informed of all gifts, I did not see any specific requirement on the interstate commerce permit application that specified this. Hope this help Bob. For everyone out there!

As far as snake for snake trade goes you do not need an interstate commerce permit. As long as no money changes hands, all you need to do is write an agreement between the parties concerned, sign it & you`re good to go.

This came from Cameron shaw himself, he deals with all the permit applications, & Bob Asseto can verify this also.
