robeyeshua221 Oct 26, 2012 07:55 PM

had him almost 3 weeks - greens in morning - bugs in evening. He was eating great - still eating decent, but no potty. Gave him a bath 2 saturdays ago - he filled the sink full off poo - then another bath last saturday and nothing - eating has slowed down - spends less time under heat - more time on cool side - any ideas?? - in a 55 gallon - husbandry is on point

How late are you feeding him crickets in the evening before his lights go off. Food should be offered early in the day so they have plenty of time to digest it in the daytime heat in their cage. Veggies are great to feed everday. But myself personally, I would not do crickets everyday. You can offer crickets and worms about 3 times a week still. Once they reach adulthood, veggies should be about 70-75% of their diet and protein being about 25-30%.

What are your ambient, basking, cool side, and night time temperatures. Also, is the lizard getting hydrated enough. What substrate are you using, and are you supplementing your food.
